Midwest Railcar Corporation's railcar leases can be structured for both longer or shorter term agreements. Railcar leases are structured based on customer requirements as follows:

Full Service:

Midwest Railcar Corporation arranges for maintenance of the railcars and is responsible for Ad-Valorem taxes.

Net Lease:

The customer is responsible for maintenance, insurance, and taxes.

Per Diem:

Railcars under this agreement generate hourly and/or mileage revenue with maintenance responsibilities varying.

Fleet Management

Midwest Railcar Corporation designs our management services to fit the specific needs of our customers. Examples of the services provided include:

-Audit and payment of lease invoices

-Custom software used for repair bill auditing, validation and disputes/exceptions

-Mileage services for car hire data, excess mileage, and equalization

-Mechanical, engineering, and regulatory expertise for all freight cars and tank cars

-Tank car qualification program development and other technical support

-Shop audits, car inspections, and other field services

-Review of AAR Circulars and participation on industry committees

-Shop selection and mobile unit call-outs

-One time movement approval (OTMA) support

-Collect tax bills, process payments, and file Ad Valorem taxes

-BRC auditing, rate negotiation, and estimate approvals

-Consolidated bill paying and summary invoicing by business unit

-Tracing of railcars on personalized schedules

-Customized reporting that fits your business needs

-Car specification support for new and existing cars

-Maintain and communicate your specifications to meet QA program requirements
