Richard M. Murphy, President & CEO, is the founder of Midwest Railcar Corporation (now Midwest Railcar, LLC). Rich has led the company since 1998, scaling the company from a startup to a leading railcar lessor with 35,000+ owned, leased, and managed railcars. Prior to founding Midwest, Rich held leadership roles at Southern Illinois Railcar Company (VP, Sales & Marketing) and Transco Railway Products (Regional Account Manager), building deep expertise in railcar sales, operations, and fleet growth.
